Westwood Nursing and Rehabilitation offers a wide variety of activities for every individual. Our activities engage the body, mind, and spirit. These events provide social interaction and a fun experience. We plan special events for all holidays and birthdays and our monthly activity calendars that are packed from morning to night with fun activity options.

Activities & Exercise

Our Activities Program is full of fun, informative, and entertaining events for everyone. Each day there are plenty of activities to not only keep you busy, but you will find it is a great place where you can go to socialize with others. Join us for ice cream socials, cornbread socials, arts and crafts classes, or visit our monthly General Store where the residents can shop just as they were going out to the local Dollar General. Once you arrive, the Activities Department will discuss your interests and hobbies and assess your activity level with you and your family.

Additional Amenities

While you are here, you can visit the library in our activities department, enjoy our on-site beauty and barber services, or relax with our restaurant-style dining in the dining room. Our engaging exercise programs incorporate our therapy department. We also have a beautiful outdoor garden with a concrete path to the garden of raised flower beds where our facility residents grow vegetables and their favorite flowers!

Church Services

We recognize all religious denominations and hold services on special occasions in our community. We have volunteers from local churches to come and do services with our residents and invite their family to take them to church when possible. We are happy to accommodate everyone who wants to participate, regardless of preference.
